Connecticut Keynote Speaker & Clean Comedian

Selected as one of the top three comedians from the first nine years of Homes for the Brave’s Veterans Comedy Night — and invited back for its 10th Anniversary All-Star Special. Alabama-based, nationally touring, and available throughout Connecticut and New England.

Alabama-Based. Nationally Touring. Proven in Connecticut.

Jody Fuller is a clean comedian, keynote speaker and former U.S. Army Major with three tours in Iraq who has stuttered his entire life. He is based in Opelika, Alabama and works nationally — programs delivered in 45 states and for U.S. troops in 15 countries — so a Connecticut organizer is booking a touring professional with a track record in the region.

The documented Connecticut work is with Homes for the Brave, the Bridgeport nonprofit serving homeless and at-risk veterans. Its annual For Veterans, By Veterans Comedy Night features U.S. military veterans who are also professional comics. Jody was a featured comic at the 9th annual show in March 2025. For the 10th anniversary in March 2026, the event committee invited back the top three comics from the first nine years — Jody was one of them, and the first comic the organization had ever brought back for consecutive shows.

That is the kind of proof that matters to a fundraiser committee: a ticketed room of more than 300 people, a mission audience that knows the subject, and an organization that rebooked him on the strength of the first night.

Where Jody Works in Connecticut and New England

Bridgeport is the documented relationship, but Jody travels the state: Hartford, New Haven, Stamford, Norwalk, Danbury, Waterbury, New London, Mystic and the casino and conference properties in between. Bradley International, the New York airports and Boston Logan all connect through Atlanta, and Connecticut sits between his New Jersey and New Hampshire work, so a New England swing is easy to build when a second date lines up.

Planners book the same act across every room type: a veterans gala that has to sell tickets, an association conference that needs a closing night people stay for, a corporate banquet that cannot risk an off-color set, a school in-service or a church event with every age in the room.
