Alabama Keynote Speaker & Clean Comedian
Jody Fuller lives in Opelika. Alabama is the one state where he is the local act — and the state with the longest list of repeat clients on this site.
Alabama-Based. Nationally Touring. Proven in Alabama.
Alabama is home. Jody grew up here, served here and still lives in Opelika, so an Alabama booking means no airfare, no hotel and a speaker who already knows the room — the plant floor in Auburn, the school cafeteria in Crenshaw County, the fellowship hall in Birmingham, the convention ballroom in Orange Beach.
That last one is literal. On July 27, 2026, Jody entertained the Louisiana Manufactured Housing Association’s Multi-State Convention banquet at Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, with members of the Alabama and Mississippi manufactured housing associations in the audience. The association’s letter calls him “professional, personable, funny, and engaging” — and Gulf Coast convention weeks like that one are a short drive from Opelika.
The proof runs the length of the state. School districts from Sheffield to St. Clair County to Crenshaw County have brought him in for convocations and in-service days. The Alabama Rural Electric Association, Alabama Power, the Alabama Technology Network and the Association of Alabama Tax Administrators have put him in front of their people. Hunter Street Baptist Church, East Alabama Medical Center, the Opelika Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis clubs in Andalusia and Decatur have booked him — and several have booked him again. Add Vectorply in Phenix City, East Alabama Health, Decatur Utilities, Pioneer Electric Cooperative, AMEA, the Alabama Bankers Association, the AUSA Liberty and Legacy Ball in Huntsville and churches from Prattville to Troy, and the Alabama file runs deeper than any other state on this site.
He is also, by a wide margin, the most-travelled speaker on this list: Alabama-based but nationally touring, with programs delivered in 45 states. That matters for an Alabama planner too. The material has been tested in front of every kind of audience, and none of it depends on an inside joke about Auburn and Tuscaloosa. (He has those, though.)

Booking Jody in Alabama
Does Jody charge travel for Alabama events?
Almost never. He drives from Opelika to most of the state and back the same day. Mobile, the Gulf and the Shoals are the far ends, and he still drives them.
Which Alabama organisations have booked Jody?
School districts (Lee County, Opelika, Albertville, Leeds, Sheffield, St. Clair County, Crenshaw County, Andalusia, Guntersville, Sylacauga, Cherokee County, Washington County), the Alabama Independent School Association, the Alabama School Transportation Association, Alabama Power, the Alabama Rural Electric Association, the Alabama Technology Network, the Association of Alabama Tax Administrators, East Alabama Health, Princeton Baptist Medical Center, Mizell Memorial Hospital Foundation, Community of Hope Health Clinic, Decatur Utilities, Pioneer Electric Cooperative, the Alabama Municipal Electric Authority, Vectorply, RE/MAX Advantage, the Alabama Bankers Association, the AUSA Liberty and Legacy Ball in Huntsville, Hunter Street Baptist Church, Prattmont Baptist Church, the Tuskegee Lee Baptist Association, the Opelika Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis clubs in Andalusia and Decatur. He also entertained the Louisiana Manufactured Housing Association’s Multi-State Convention banquet at Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach in July 2026, attended by Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi manufactured housing members — the letters are on this page.
Is the show clean enough for a school or church audience?
Yes. Every program is clean — no profanity, no politics, nothing you would have to explain to a superintendent, a pastor or a plant manager the next morning. Educators and churches are two of his largest audiences in Alabama.
Does Jody only work in Alabama?
No. Alabama is the home base, not the service area. He has performed in 45 states and for U.S. troops in 15 countries. See the full map.
