What kinds of events does Jody speak at?
Corporate conferences and retreats, employee appreciation and awards banquets, utility and cooperative annual meetings, school convocations and teacher in-services, church events and men’s/women’s conferences, military and veterans galas, association conventions, and nonprofit fundraisers. If people are in seats, Jody can work the room.
Is the comedy really clean?
Yes. 100% clean, every time. No profanity, no politics, no punching down. Jody has performed for Dry Bar Comedy, church congregations, school boards and Fortune 500 leadership teams with the same material standards.
How long is a typical program?
Keynotes run 45–75 minutes. After-dinner comedy sets run 30–60 minutes. Half-day leadership and resilience workshops are also available. Every program is adjusted to your agenda.
Does Jody customize the presentation?
Every time. Jody learns your theme, audience, and goals ahead of the event and builds the stories and leadership takeaways around them.

Nationwide. Jody is based in Opelika, Alabama and has spoken in 45 states and for U.S. troops in 15 countries.

What do you need from us on-site?
A wireless handheld or lavalier microphone, a stage or clear performance area, and good lighting. No slides or props required. A full rider is sent with the agreement.
Where does Jody travel from?
Opelika, Alabama. He flies from Atlanta (ATL, about 1 hr 45 min away) or Columbus, GA (CSG, 40 min) and drives to most events in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle, which keeps regional travel costs low.
Do you work with speaker bureaus?
Yes. Bureaus and agencies are welcome and fees are commissionable. Jody is listed on eSpeakers, and bureaus can pull bios, headshots and the one-sheet from the Media Kit page without a form.
